I like that finish too.

You had me at Peavey Foundation. I have a red one as well, but with a rosewood fingerboard. Mine’s a 1994, the last year they did superferrites. I also have an '87 Patriot with a split maple neck.
BC Rich Widow 5-string
Red pinstripe and block inlays.
A coffin case to die for (or in).
Double P
Darkglass tone capsule installed.
Not a bad deal for $1300
I wish I’m cool enough to play with that kind of body shape, lol.
I have always wanted some crazy BC Rich with angles and points. So effing metal, I love it.
Man…that thing is a beast! The vibe is supernatural and I’m here for it.
Nice

@John_E ,
Very cool

Pretty sure we had a fridge like this back home when I was a kid.
Ooh. Fender needs to do more matching headstocks. Also, that pickguard is like 10 times better looking than a regular Jazz. And no control plate. It’s MIJ. And (the best part), no J pickups. The soapbars are humbuckers, I just checked, so all together this is easily potentially the best Jazz bass Fender has ever made, in my opinion. They got rid of all the parts I dislike
Yes, it’s a good looking bass
Dangit, I didn’t need to see that. Nice @Wombat-metal, best looking Fender jazz I have seen in awhile.
Seriously, it’s the first Fender Jazz I could see myself actually wanting (though to be fair, as far as double-bucks go, it would still be really low on the list; lots of others I would want more.)
I prefer double bucks to single coil, so no deterent here
This would be a MIA Fender jazz replacement. Problem is sometimes I confuse adding with replacing.
I vastly prefer humbuckers to single coil so yeah it’s definitely a selling point for me. But it has a big line to get in for double humbucker basses; there’s many I would rather have.
If I were to gas, these Jazz would do it
Oh wow. I am so torn.
On one hand, I love funky designs. On the other, I’m not the biggest fan of whale style horns, and this is the whaliest whale bass I have seen yet.

On the third hand, the lower cutout following the neck through back like that has serious potential. I kind of dig it.
Wood is absolutely gorgeous too!
I really dig this design. I love the easy access to the way upper frets.
Nice bass! Those hand hangers kinda freak me out tho
