Love this bass.
Do not love the pricetag.
And for that money, find pickup covers that match the orange…just sayin’
This!
Or, perhaps just use a black one for the bridge PU, and then the other’s off orange isn’t even such a big deal anymore, as it would be a highlight/accent…
This.
and my brain is thinking “Softly aged limited edition” = B-Stock
Yeah, the softly-aged Sandberg I had briefly looked like somebody had taken a beautifully finished bass and whacked it randomly with the tip of a flathead screwdriver a few times. It didn’t look natural or road-worn or played-in. It just looked annoying.
If my basses ever get one or more dings or show wear, I want there to be a personal story behind each spot.
It’s like buying a new pair of jeans with holes in them.
Yep, I’ve never understood that either.
I do love the Simpsons.
Exactly
I LOLed. However in the case of reliced guitars, I don’t think they are making and marketing those for the youngs
I want a reliced bass as about as much as I want a reliced automobile
same
Those red pickups look hideous. If they were black this would be very nice.
All very valid comments. Personally, I can’t help but think it would look better with a dark (rosewood or perhaps even ebony) fretboard.
Similar to this one (yes, I posted this before, but I still like it):
I can’t decide if I like it better or not with the pickups being a different orange.
First-world problems for sure…
Then again, for that kind of money…
I had a pair of jeans like this once, I never got the bike back from the insurance assessor and the helmet was a write off…
I think everything looks nicer with a dark fingerboard.
