Itās really not much more than their standard model. If the question is whether its worth it or not, well, I think weāve had that discussion ad nauseum. I do like me some black limba though.
Thatās absolutely not my question. If someone has $3000 and wants that bass. Then great itās a beautiful bass. I really like the new Stingray special in black with black hardware.
My point is that once you get up into that price bracket there are lotās of other interesting options. Unlike the Fender MIM price point of around $1000 where your options are fewer.
For example $1500 can get me a new Japanese Bacchus which looks (IMHO) fabulous and more expensive than the price would suggest.
They donāt show up used very often here, and I let one slip and I that has nagged me ever since.
Worst case (if you really donāt dig it) you can sell it again
How much do you think the total price would be to get it delivered to you in Canada? Iāve reached out to Ikebe on a few models they have, but after shipping, sales tax, and duties it starts to add up. It may be a better idea to visit @howard and carry it back on the plane. I think @John_E was on to something.
