Lobster is a decent guy. He’s always been upfront that his reviews were strictly his own humble opinions, which is more than can be said of others who value their opinions beyond all reason.
Agree or disagree with his takes, but at least he’s a gigging bassist and he’s never been a shill for a manufacturer or a brand.
This was his reply back in November, to people who were concerned about his SAG of unique basses and his abrupt absence on YT:
Hi! I’m doing great, just taking a break from making videos and focusing on other bits of my life. Things are wonderful though and life is amazing :). I’ll probably be back in dec/jan or so!

It’s easy enough to avoid seeing Lobster. It’s not like he’s ever been inevitably, automatically broadcasted onto people’s computers.

I’ve been curious, as it’s come up a few times. Why do you feel the need to point that out? You don’t need to White Knight a popular youtuber like Lobster. He’s successful. And it’s also fine for others to have opinions about his schtick.
