10th Anniversary Thunder Bass
Price: USD 2,199.00
Terrible knobs on premium instruments is a pet peeve of mine. I donāt care if they are vintage, the cheap plastic knobs suck.
Yamaha Explorer Bass EBX-1. Super cool, MIJ in the '80s.
Thatās one that was on Reverb for Ā£569 + delivery. Thereās one locally tempting me for under $300. Not gonna but itās a cute bass at that price.
Sorry, I missed that. Itās hard to keep up.
Ewww. Iām sorry, but this belongs in The Ugly Duckling/Freak Thread as far as Iām concerned.
Haha I can see that, which is part of what makes it amazing, in all itās '80s glam hair metal glory.
Not sure thatās a raise.
That Rick-enstein is gonna be one heavy mother.
Plus, the headless one is a sub bass.
True - youād need some major core strength
Stil what use is the sub bass - apart from communicating with whales?

If you want sub then buy an OC-2 and put the rest of the money towards a nice bass.
A sub octave Bass sounds cool to meā¦ Check out this vid. Quite pricey though Scale to me seems quite bigger than that dual sub Bass/Guitar.
Yep, this was a thread topic a couple of years ago.
Since itās an extra long scale topic and Lignum is already mentioned: [My SUB OCTAVE BASS sounds MONSTROUS]
Yeah gotchaā¦ just donāt think it sounds like Whales as Ed commented.
Oh, I agree. Sub octave basses sound great.

Good pedal. I switched to the E-H Micro POG. It tracks really well and the dual outputs (dry and FX) add a lot of routing flexibility.
This video uses the Micro POG with a guitar, but it also works well with my basses.
I feel your 5-string hits are getting more and more frequent, Mikeā¦ somethingās afoot

lol yeah, these are very different. I love the OC-2 but you buy it you buy it for the synthy glitchiness.
Love it, but too many strings.
