That is truly unfortunate.
I love it. Needs a taillight cone though
does it come in a 56 or 57 Ford version?
I think you can get it with an SM-57.
Oh man, that is simply lovely.
Kinda reeks more of an old school condenser

Some interesting sightings in some casual bass shopping the other day.
Fender Japan’s current racing stripe models. Someone needs to stop drinking.
A bunch of AtelierZ in way more colors than usual
I really dig the color theme of this Black Smoker
that’s a red metal pickguard and red metal raised ß logo
although i can and do say that an example is objectively beautiful i just find it really hard to get truly excited over another FSO (fender shaped object) ![]()
Yeah I know what you mean
I wasn’t sure where to post these two pics, so decided to put them under Bass Porn.
Today, I went to the Kazakh Museum of Folk Musical Instruments, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Two of the instruments on display were a bass and contrabass dombra. The donbra is a traditional long-necked, two-stringed plucked musical instrument that are deeply rooted in Central Asian nomadic culture, particularly in Kazakhstan. The are generally carved from a single block of wood annd are played by strumming or plucking to produce a bright, resonant sound that accompanies epic storytelling and folk songs.
They look pretty cool, I’d love to have a go on one!
I love that color green. Unfortunately it looks like a limited run of 100 and it only comes in 5 string.
I think @Tommydogg has a KK3. He can probably give you a gear rundown.
Combustion is a great choice, I would pick one over a Nolly myself (mostly for looks, the blue and purple Combustions are amazing)
I do have one! I didn’t realize only 100, I knew it was limited. I’s deep sounding and it has a switch to engage the middle pickup all the time when turned on, no matter the pickup selection. The color is awesome, a perfect edition to my green bass collection!
Wow, that’s very nice! Anything with a certificate is out of my paygrade! I do have a Sweetwater exclusive Emerald Green Darkray though!
