Toontrack just released the Session Legend expansion for EZBass, based on the classic Yamaha BB3000. They state that the range is B0-E4. Since the BB3000 was a 4-string only as far as I know, I don’t know how they sampled B0-D#1. Maybe they just replaced the E string with a B string, or maybe they strung it BEAD. Whatever, it 100% Yamaha sweetness. Check out the Full Productions and Presets & DI demos.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen one string having two more frets than the others.

The 3-way switch is parallel, split, series on the pickup.
Tuners are Gotoh, bridge is Hipshot, pickup is the Seymour Duncan SMB-4a.

well this is kind of throwing me. on the one hand, purists are pretty skeptical about the Aguilar setup. and also, gold hardware, which for god knows why reason is just a Spector thing. otoh the green is gorgeous and so is the price. hmm
