Toontrack just released the Session Legend expansion for EZBass, based on the classic Yamaha BB3000. They state that the range is B0-E4. Since the BB3000 was a 4-string only as far as I know, I don’t know how they sampled B0-D#1. Maybe they just replaced the E string with a B string, or maybe they strung it BEAD. Whatever, it 100% Yamaha sweetness. Check out the Full Productions and Presets & DI demos.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen one string having two more frets than the others.
That’s super interesting! built in drop D. You would think this would be more common.
