BassBuzz Meetups

Let me know if you want to take any of mine for a spin.

On the right is the 76 body to a 2001 NOS 75’ reissued with Fralin split coil and preamp setup 62’ vol/tone stacks.
On the left is the Fretless American Deluxe Precision custom EMG electronics and prototype PVX.
In the middle is the American Pro II Precision.

Left, Marcus Miller MIJ with John East Marcus Retro Preamp and Aguilar Split coil Jazz.
Next to it is the MIJ 51’ reissued Precision with TI Jazz flats

They would sound pretty wicked on your system. If you are into the Jazz profiles neck the Warwicks are pretty insanely amazing too. This one is with Jazz pickups a neck through Katana.

Thank you, @Al1885. I was going to try to get by the restaurant but dog-sitting issues got in the way. Looking forward to getting to the shed soon. Tomorrow, I was looking at getting the Pro II Jazz to go with the P, but life sort of got in the way. Soon.

Cool. Regardless of how other American fenders are doing the professional line usually the reliable workhorse. You know for about $150 more you do the ModShop one with pretty epic colors.

Had no idea. Just checked that out. Awesome. Thank you.

This of course mean you’d buy the American pro at full price of $1800. The modshop I spec’d with MochaBurst and rosewood fingerboard is $1950. I missed out on the all rosewood neck, now there’s no more :(.

Miami Blue is such a great colour within that range.

I love all the Fender pastel colors, but their blues and greys are especially good.

Love love love that color. I have a Telecaster Deluxe in that finish! The P bass looks pretty amazing as well.

I was actually surprised. It’s not just color but neck, pickups, tuners, woods, etc. essentially for a little more. Great info @Al1885.

I’m a fan of the Sherwood green rosewood combo.

Sherwood green instruments need either a number in a white circle or a yellow racing stripe and trim. Or both.

If you’re going to call an instrument a Jaguar, and paint it that color, there are rules

Another great lunch with @JerryP today.
Talking bass, mixing, superfund sites, customer service (and the significant lack thereof) and everything in between.

It was great to see you, John and to meet the owners/managers of the Bridge View Tavern in Sleepy Hollow.
