The Kiloton I just picked up has the same body as the SB. I just figured out last night that the itty bitty waist on them are a perfect wrist rest when youāre playing with fingers.

Well, as I said Iām not much into the birth year thing, but if I wanted one, it could be a 1980 Gibson RD Artist, the one with the Moog preamp.
or maybe a 1980 MusicMan Sabre Bass.

That said I wish to have the actual ā62 and ā75. Jazz bass. As both years offer iconic features to the model.
I owned ā75 Jazz bass. Not for long, though. I didnāt gel with it at all. I got rid of it.

Just to play along I did some searches for 1960 basses.
It was a little tricky since many more current 1960ās basses showed up.
I did find this 1960 Fender āStack Knobā Jazz Bass - Lake Placid Blue Refinish for close to $20,000.
I found a couple of other interesting basses from the 1960s.

Not gonna lie, I like that headstock better than the current ones.
Original 1962 Fender Precision Bass although I am pretty happy with my American Pro II Precision bass and donāt feel the need to own a bass made in 62ā like me. ![]()
