Drawing is definitely not one of my strong points but I thought I would try to draw one of my D&D characters and Musician Personas. His name is Ashwhistle and he is a Kenku Necrobard.
For all of you non-nerds, that’s a creepy bird guy that plays bass in a death metal band!
Found this sketch I drew sometime in the mid-80s, I guess…
I didn’t know I was going to play bass 35 years later (or, perhaps, I did on some subconscious level!?!). I probably was trying to draw hands… Also, I probably traced a lot of this off some photo… My drawing skills were/are limited
i can’t even draw a stick guy right. i used to date an artist (go figure) that would tell me anyone can draw, you just need to practice it. easy for an artist to say, i think some people just have a talent for it.
I used to think the same thing about playing an instrument…and drawing. Then I learned about Miss Krystle and hired her as my attorney. She’s inspired me to do all kinds of things that I didn’t know I could do. I’m not saying you should go spend $700 on an attorney BUT look up Miss Krystle and TMA (Top Music Attorney) on YouTube and IG and tell me if you dont get inspired to do things lol. Start with her TedX lol.
Hey, now it’s too late. I’m always getting weird
But no worries, based on the situation in the US an it’s aftermath, it will be several years before I go to the US. If at all…
Ha!
I used to do both - play and DM.
I don’t have the time now, but I still love it all.
I draw lots.

i mean i guess it’s no diff than saying anyone can play bass, you just have to practice it. because in all honesty, i’ve never really practiced drawing anything.
me either. Everyone and they’re brother can tell you to practice something and you’ll get better at it. It’s not until the right person tells you the thing and you actually try
