It’s always good @BillJr, this one took 13 hour’s 45minutes.
We had some done with homemade spicy Korean sauce and some natural, the rest gets put in the freezer.

I bet that’s amazing, I do it that way in a slow cooker sometimes and it is freaking fantastic. Shoulder roast is a cut of meat that is really hard to mess up.

I spent 12 yrs living in Korea and love the food


the first pic is Topokki…this cooks to a stew consistency and then you serve over rice
the second is bendekduk…kimchi pancake spicy and dipped in soy sauce
the last pic is part of the setting for our Korean Thanksgiving (Chusok)

right there with you…me and the missus roll into a korean restaurant she’ll order the entire menu and a bag to take it home with…mean while i’m there spooning the tofu out of my kimchi jjigae and burnin meat on the grill

The Japanese take on it is awesome too, I love the ishiyaki bibimbap you can get at most chains.
