Honestly - if I owned the Cort I would be tempted to drop in a different preamp and wire it with a real active/passive switch instead of having the EQ bypass. Assuming the Bartolini MK-1’s in there are passive pups that is, which they appear to be.
The current setup as described, where there is an EQ bypass but it still requires the battery to power the preamp even when bypassed, that’s just weird. Active pickups can require the power of course, but those do not appear to be active pups.
It otherwise looks like a great bass. I love its look and other features.
