Extra Basses got to go, wife is not happy

That’s the only pic you have. Can I see more? The second one is that the deluxe precision?

Well now you see the choices I’m diggin on.
The Fender is 1300 and the SB2 is 1400.
It seems to me they both are somewhat collectable with I think the G&L a little more so.

Hmmm! This is hard to decide. I own both. However my deluxe precision is a custom modded with Tony Franklin fretless neck and custom prototypes EMG x series p double Js

I’d choose mind over the SB2 but from your choice the SB2 is a better buy though I don’t know how much they are asking.

That said if you just want the SB2 you can get the tribute series less than half price with the same hardware and electronics.

The deluxe precision is very hard to find and very few companies make the Double J pickup, Delano, and I’ don’t know who else. I literally made mine buy buying 2 bridge J pickups grind off the tab and glue it together.

How much are they asking for?

Fender is 1300, the SB2 1400. both have excellent hard cases.

Hmmm! Both are average price points drop 10% to 15% now we are in the good deal range. What other basses do you have? SB-2 is not for everyone, although the neck looks fabulous.

Which way are you leaning?

Totally torn, and I just can’t decide. I knew nothing about the G&L’S until I seen that one but really like the color. But same with the p…

Geddy j, and a new neck just put on the squire p. A great neck from Indo and an amazing sounding older squire, likely 90’s.

Why would the SB2 not be for some players?

TRBX or BB? The TRBX’s can be had starting at around $200 for the 174, and the BB234’s start around $300 brand new. On reverb, you can get really good prices for both and they both punch way above their price tag in terms of quality.

I’m in Canada, those are definitely U S numbers because up here that’s 1 tank of gas and a home cooked meal for 3, not much up here is a couple hun.
That being said the sb2 is around 980. US and the p a little less.

That’s also starting a gas fire in me, the Yammies are and I think always were far better than most people have given them credit for…

G&L is Leo Fender third and last company he worked there until the day he died.

His first guitar company was Fender he sold it to CBS, yes the TV studio then silently partnered up with a few Fender pals to open MusicMan then later sold it to Ernie Ball and found G&L with Gorge Fullerton hence the name George and Leo. That’s the nickel history of Leo Fender.

Leo is a tinkerer and he loves to innovate so each company he added and improved upon the last design and they are significantly improved. So if you like Fender G&L are just the 2 generation better in terms of performance and innovation.

I have a few of their guitars ASAT CLassic S Tele) Comanche (Stratocaster) SB-1 and SB-2 all are the best version of their siblings. Well almost the Music Man Cutlass p bass and the Caprice PJ is the best version thought not designed by Leo :joy:

In the world where everyone want an instrument to sound like every types of bass out there with the 3-4 band EQ a no tone knobs bass is usually not popular.

That’s why it’s exactly my kind of bass. As I showed you I have at least 4 basses with just volume knob.

Oh wait! That’s awesome. Take one each man.
At that price someone is going to jail, :joy:

I just really don’t even know what I like I’m to new, with the exception of the early MM Stingray a very good player with a fair stable of basses once played for me, that was the best bass sound I’ve heard.

I should take them both you say, hahaha that’s a good one, well see I’m trying to get a discount on the p, the sb2 is officially firm.

At that price the SB2 is awesome with that neck.
