So is Alice Cooper. He was/still is one of my favorites.
First concert was Cassiopeia, Bangkok Thailand it was a very busy year for me I saw Miami sound machine and Micheal Jason I think the same year there.
First concert here in the state was the Big Foot concert, I didn’t see them I was working at the parking lot LA coliseum it was my first job ever here, next to Compton/South Central. Real $hithole, lol.
Last concert, either Diana Krall or Sting, not sure at the Greek Theater.
It’s tough, I play bass and I usually memorize the lyrics just bass lines when people stand up and started singing along I felt like an idiot, lol.
First concert was 311 at the warped tour in 2001. Chad Sexton is an amazing drummer and P-Nut is a fantastic bassist. I’ve seen them probably 12 times since.
Last concert was Chicago, last week. It was a cool show.
Earlier this year I saw Bad Religion and last month I saw OMD. Both shows were amazing.
OMD is fantastic live. It’s been 33 years since I saw them
my first concert was ZZ Top at Lyon (France), 1994 during the Antenna tour.
not sure about the last one because I’ve seen sereval bands recently during festivals.
First concert was Pearl Jam in ‘92 and the last was Bob Seger in ‘21. Loudest was Motörhead back in ‘99.
So glad to see another 311 post on this!!! I always enjoy hearing from a fellow fan.
My next “last concert” will be tonight as we are going to see the Black Keys with Band of Horses and Ceramic Animal opening. I have known about Band of Horses for a few years now but I was not familiar with Ceramic Animal until I spent this weekend listening to them on Spotify. I like them! Anyone else familiar with them?
There are a lot of new bands or at least new to me bands regularly mentioned in various threads here.
It reminds me of the Jimmy Kimmel show where they just made names up. Below for reference.
First concert: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, July 8 1981 Portland OR
Last concert: Red Hot Chili Peppers, August 3 2022 Seattle WA
Next concert: Iron Maiden, Sept 29 2022 Seattle WA
Up the gunners!
Is that Axl Rose? Holey Moley! No, that can’t be him!!!
Nope, thats Duff McKagan (there’s a clue in the Bass )
Axl is a bit more tired and “relic’d” looking but he gave it 105%.
Edit: Doh, its been a rough day and I’m a bit hard of thinking… yes, that is actually Axl singing in the video.
My first concert was Guns n Roses in Budapest in 1992, on their Use Your Illusion tour
Last one was Meshuggah in Dublin in 2017
Last concert was last Wednesday, Mono from Japan. Coming up tonight, Clutch
Quite varied for me.
First was Iron Maiden back in 2005 and most recent was Lindsey Stirling in 2017.
First concert: The Wombles (70s)
Last Concert: Stiff Little Fingers (March 2022. HMV Empire, Coventry).
Not much change in musical taste there @Richard_Crowe
