I don’t know, honestly its rare I use such intention in language.
The intended meaning is, 'I don’t give a fk.
If there’s another meaning share it.

Please enlighten me.
What does it mean?
I’m familiar with the definition. But people who use it generally end a conversation with it and move on.
Continuing the conversation after issuing that retort pretty much negates the sentiment. But, oh well.
Essentially, more than a single f*¢# is apparently given.
The flaw here, as best as I’m able to figure it is that the “metrics” you’re basing your measurable facts on is an opinion… which is like the opposite of statistical fact.
Pull up those boots
There is no flaw as no one has set out the metrics.
you’re
Express away, dude. Makes me no nevermind.
And, by the way, a definition is not grammar.

Now, THAT’s funny.
You have a chance to prove it right now, what do you say to that?
Because the greatest bass players use picks
Hah! Brings me back to the great COVID thread of 2021. What a time that was…
Seriously though, I’d say the greats (IMO) are well rehearsed in both pick and pluck: Entwhistle, McCartney and Butler all spring to mind. Funnily enough, based on my own scientific study of what’s in my head, I would say pluckers are more likely to pick than pickers to pluck. No stats available though ![]()
Don’t you start, @howard ![]()

Come for the horrible practice story, stay for the pick fight?
In all seriousness, I think wielding a pick would be a serious disadvantage when engaging non-pick players in hand to hand combat.
The hand position required to jab someone’s eyes out with a pick is a bit awkward compared to just a straight poke with a well pluck strengthened index finger. I don’t think the sharpness advantage of a pick overcomes that.
“Looks like you brought a slappin’ thumb to a pick fight!”
I don’t know - you could tape a couple of picks to a patch cable and use it like a set of nunchuks?
What metrics @jimmyWishbone would one use to definitively establish who was ‘better’ between the examples I used (I really like them both) of Iron Maiden and Adele?

Define greatest.
Jaco, Victor, Marcus, Geddy and James.
