I actually liked Mr. Pibb. True fact: in the '80s, before the super-caffiene craze in the '90s and 2000s, Diet Mr. Pibb had the most caffiene out of all normal sodas, even Mountain Dew, which everyone assumed had the most.
Itās like MusicMan for fender in every sense. Itās heavy, running 18v, and humbucker. I wish I kept it but it was a really good flip and so it went.
Nowadays you get mr pipps where you canāt get Dr Pepper only available in fountain in my neck of the wood.
Yeah I havenāt seen it in decades.
Mr pipps belongs to Coke, Dr Pepper is no longer Licence to Coke. Restaurants that sell Coke can sell Coke version of Dr Pepper without having another vender. Sorry Iām a restaurant guy, thought I shared, lol.
We have it in Brazil as well
That reminds me, I had a really good brazilian guarana soda but I forget its name. Liked it though.
GuaranĆ” Antarctica?
Pepsi pays the bills people and thereby buys the basses and thereby is #1.
I used to work for Dr Pepper /Snapple Group now Keurig Dr Pepper.
There is no period after Dr in Dr Pepper.
Mr. Pibb is just silly.
FYI I drink water, donāt touch soda. Used to.
Grape Fanta rocks, but the truly best are IBC root beer, Sunkist orange (highly cafinated ) and Vernorās ginger ale and #1 is Stewartās Black Cherryā¦.yum!
Been in the biz over 30 years.
Never dug cola
Really, I always thought it was caffeine free?
Too bad its Orange (I know, I know, my favorite color), as Suboxone has pretty much ruined anything orange flavor for me.
Reminds me of this abomination.
New Orderās big sellout. Apparently they got $200k for it which was serious cheddar at the time.
I do love that they dressed up as a hair metal band for it and Hooky does briefly shoot the camera the bird
Yeah thatās it!
Crush is caffeine free
Do they still have Sunkist Orange?
IDK, I donāt pay attention to many sodaās.
Fretless - I use flats
Everything else - I use rounds
I have heard of people putting rounds on Fretless.
I saw one YT video that said the NEED for flats on Fretless is a myth, suggested because rounds would eat up the fretboard, but in reality, they donāt do any different on a fretless than on a fretted.
Disclaimer. I do not speak from personal experience.
Itās not a need as you can experiment with anything. Itās just a preference
Yeah, for sure.
I just know some people are under the assumption that you MUST put flats on a fretless, as Rounds can damage the neck.
And no, I am not talking about you @PamPurrs, FWIU, there is a general belief that you must put flats on a fretless, and I have seen at least two people debunk it.
One was the guy with my name but rearranged. Oliver Tobin.
Jaco used rounds
FWIW, my GWB205 (fretless) came with rounds (and I think Gary Willis plays rounds on his fretless basses). I tried other rounds on that bass and a week or so ago put flats on it, and I think they sound great for the sound I am going for
Just FYI, I am not a flats expert and donāt know what they usually look like, but here is what T-I flats look like:
I can certainly feel a texture for the B, E and A strings⦠For me, they feel like strings; D and G feel a bit like wires, but nothing that really bothers me.
And, again, they sound awesome for what I am trying to achieve!
Horses for courses!!
