Some of the contemporary best doing it to it.

Relaxed, cool studio recording. Love it, and I still love the sound of the Wurly 200a after all these years. Sadly, back then, I never had the money for one. Best I could do was a used Farfisa Mini.

Not my thing at all but apparently underrated

It was perfect for 96 Tears. We were adding it to the setlist, so I picked up a used one cheap. I plugged my bass into the Bass channel on my ‘64 Bassman and the Farfisa into the Normal channel, and played the simple bass line with my left hand and keys line with the right.

Here’s a lovely piece by the WDR Big Band (Westdeutscher Rundfunk public broadcaster in Köln). There’s some tasty double bass to enjoy!

That’s a really great bigband, and they have so many cool projects with guests. Here is one with Mark Letteri and there is some tasty e-bass playing here:

Poached off No Treble. Some funky stuff. Really cool and first time I’ve heard a PRS bass…

Very cool! Nice find. What panning. Guitar (almost) 100% left channel. Bass (almost) 100% right channel. Drums in the middle with the individual kit pieces panned appropriately. A mixing and mastering masterclass.
