Crossovers are usually bad but Destiny 2: Renegades is so damn well done while still being utter and complete Star Wars fan service. I love it.
Decided to finally play Seperate Ways, which is DLC for Resident Evil 4R. I’m not really into Leon or Ada so I never got around to it, but I’m so pumped for RE9 next year that I finally bit the bullet. The gameplay is fun as hell. I wish it was longer.
Started playing a game on Steam: Witchfire. Still in early access, but really cool what they got right now.
A soulslike rogue-lite shooter. All the things in one, but it works ![]()
Welp, I just finished the Seperate Ways DLC for Resident Evil 4, and am almost done with the Shadows of Rose (it’s awful) DLC for Resident Evil Village.
Next up I’m tryna decide if I should do Outlast or Detroit Become Human. I also picked up Sorry We’re Closed from the Epic giveaways, so I might try that one. I really love survival horror.
My friend just found this one:
You’re basically Lt. Gorman in Aliens watching your team die on a screen.
thanks , I’ll check that out
Outlast is really good, and really scary, especially the DLC.
If you are into Aliens, check out Aliens: Dark Decent. You command a squad of 4 colonial marines, turn based.
In the survival horror genre, Alien: Isolation is really excellent.
I’ll look into Dark Descent. I love Alien Isolation so much, the atmosphere is soooooo good. I’ve played it and the Nostromo DLC like 4 times.
have been hitting classics the past couple of weeks: mario kart, mario tennis, and mario golf.
but more than anything in gaming i am looking forward to an actual, no joke, possibly could really happen, not just rumors, release of half-life 3 (possibly as part of the steam machine launch) in 2026.
ill believe it when i see it but HL and HL2 are in my opinion the best games ever released. so HL3 would be incredible.
How do you like the new Borderlands? The first was my all time favorite but then the series fell off for me. I think I must have beaten BL1 at least 7 times by myself and with friends.
Playing Jump space lately and it’s a meeting little game, but really dying to get back into a survival game. For a fat guy I really enjoy starving to death in video games… ![]()
BL4 is great, way better than 3.
For me the series peaked with BL2 plus it’s DLC. BL2’s Tiny Tina TLC is one of the best moments in gaming full stop ![]()
They have this weird tradition with the last DLC for each of the games being the best. Knoxx, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the Krieg/Maya one for BL3, etc.
Just started playing Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow.
OMG, they have no teleport locomation, and this is the first VR game I played in a long time.
I loved all the Thief games very much, so I will really try. But I don’t know if I can do it, I am getting motion sickness whenever I use amooth movement with the controller.
I just got 100% of the Steam achievements for Baldur’s Gate 3. Now back to playing music and singing. lol
I can’t really do gaming and music well at the same time. I’ve been working on another playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 for a couple of months now and only about half way through Phantom Liberty.
Cyberpunk is one of my favorites. At least you play in a band in that game. lol
My most played are:
No Man’s Sky (super chill)
X4 Foundations (space empire and trade route building)
Baldur’s Gate 3 (great story and role play)
Deep Rock Galactic (fun with friends)
Cyberpunk (another great story and role play)
Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (another great story role play)
I have a backlog of games I have that I don’t know when I’ll get around to playing, including: Ghost Recon Wildlands, Titanfall 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Pacific Drive, Hogwarts Legacy, God of War, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ghost of Tsushima, the entire F.E.A.R series, Fallout New Vegas, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Disco Elysium, Detroit: Become Human, Clair Obsur: Expedition 33 and the entire Batman: Arkham series.
I guess I buy them at a higher rate than I finish them. lol
Currently I´m in the last stretches of Hades 2. I just need to max out the relationship with Ikarus and them I have everything done in the game.
At the weekend I will probably start with Copycat on the PlayStation. Followed the development for a while and bought the physical copy a few months ago. Time to reduce my backlog!
Finished Hades 2 and played Copycat.
Copycat was unfortunately a not really good game. It was developed by only two people so I can overlook the clunky controls and okay-ish graphics. But the story wasn´t really good. At times I was very upset and angry at what was happening on the screen and the ending left me with no closure.
If I had to recommend a cat game I would choose Stray. I had a much better connection as a cat with the sci-fi dystopian robot people than the real-world humans in Copycat
I’m currently playing a lot of modded Terraria, and also Goat Simulator 3. Both amazing games. My all time favorite game has to be Factorio, though.
I’ve been dipping back into the Life is Strange series with the announcement of the release of Reunion coming up this spring and because I apparently like having my heart broken again.
Also I finally picked up NieR: Automata when it was on sale recently to finally see what all the fuss was about.
And Blue Prince. Late to the this one as well, as is my way. So much going on and I only have a partial grasp on some of it.
