Same here. One of the reasons I like teles. I rebuilt my friends first guitar which was a strat and turned it into a hardtail because he prefered that setup too.

Cool. Yeah, for me, trem just adds weight, bungs up the tuning, and gets in the way. Would much rather have a through-body hardtail.

I’ve recently cone into some money and bought 4 new basses, none costing more than $300. Two are Yamaha’s, 1 an Ibanez and a Squier Affinity Jaguar. 1 of the Yamahas I got from Guitar Junkyard. Terry had it on consignment for $260.

The other Yamaha and Ibanez will both arrive by Wednesday and I have an appointment with Terry Thursday afternoon to set them up…and they will need it. I got the Jaguar from Musician’s Friend and it was in huge need of setting up. It took Terry a half hour to do it.

I found her on Gumtree of all places @SubsonicRob . Nothing on Reverb anywhere near the price I paid for her. The best I could get around that price was a new bolt on on sale in a local store

I envy you. To me Sweetwater is strictly an online only. We just have Guitars center and Samash, I I heard that they are night and day.
