Did you buy it from Al?! If so, congrats!

If you just happened to see it and not buy it, congrats!

I definitely bought it, and also got to see some amazing things that were not in my budget but They certainly will be in my dreams from now on. Ha ha ha

Thanks @Reasonably_Happy seeing that tree I wish I have a direct line to Pete the treehouse guy.

It was such a pleasure to meet you and exchange some crazy ideas. I’m sure I’ll be putting them in action soon, lol.

The neck is insane on that one. I sanded the neck using 320 to 12000 grit. Then applied truoil then changed it to the special concoction of boiled Linseed oil. Great feel. It feels like the many of the Fender USA neck as well as the ebmm necks I have including the Joe Dart ii.

How does it compare to the feel of the Cutlass?

Same it’s among the neck I compared. Originally, it was either Nitro or Poly but I just sanded it out. For maximum feel.

@Reasonably_Happy what is your impression on the Battery powered amp?

Cool. Mine is the stock matte poly, but I love it as is. Feels gun-stock smooth.

I was actually really impressed with how the amp sounded. And of the four different bases I got to plug in it definitely seemed like it articulated the difference between them very clearly.

something that interests me a lot. which model exactly ?

This one

It’s a smidge nasally without cranking the bass. I tried to keep everything in the middle but one adjusted it’s as good as any bass amp ii tried in this price range.

I should bring my Yamaha thr10 to compare

It’s a good thing we don’t live near each other, I think it would get quite $$$$$$

If I didn’t already make a commitment for my next purchase, @Al1885 would be getting more money from me. There will be more projects… Christmas is coming

Likewise, if I’m anywhere near New York we’d both be in a world of trouble, lol.

Since this is the GAS thread, would anyone possibly be interested in a budget friendly Bongo copy? To my knowledge one doesn’t exist… yet. :sunglasses:

I’ve always said I wished Sterling made a Bongo. I would actually consider one. It would have to be good though. Not in the market at the moment either.

They could call it the Bingo! :upside_down_face:
