Santa was very generous this year! Almost as if he read my mind
Lemme know how is that book working for you.
Hey merry Christmas, it seems like miss Cap is making a lot of house call this week, lol.
Ari’s theory book came to me a few weeks ago, thanks to @booker_t. Thanks again, Booker!
I agree about Ari Cap’s book. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the nest one. Thank you @PamPurrs for recommending it.
Ari’s book is good to go through, then to revisit over and over again in life (you know, that thing no one ever does but should).
Non-bass related GAS for Christmas this year.
Two microphones.
NUX B-6 Wireless saxoohone mic (supposed to be the bomb, TBD)
Shure MV88 iPhone USB microphone
…this one is for recording some funky ambient industrial sounds out in the world.
I’m interested to know how you like the Shure mic and how user friendly it is.
So far I see big delays in the app, but, it tells you to go to airplane mode to record but I didn’t get to that yet.
Good to know, I figure it’s an app based product or at least app enhanced. I have the blue mic one it was actually not bad at all.
Hmm! Set neck gorgeous is it a fender mustang bass?, lol. No? A bongo bass?
Ooohh. I know what it is!
I’m gonna keep it to myself, but I think you treated yourself very well there @Mac
Good to know, I figure it’s an app based product or at least app enhanced.
So works very well. Much faster app in airplane mode (which makes sense to use if recording anyway). Works outside of app but app allows for mic pattern selection, compression etc and saving of files within it.
Still awaiting my main pressie which will be arriving in the new year now due to the xmas rush and postal strikes in the UK.
In the meantime I did get a Zoom MS 60-B so I can take that along to my weekly jam without having to take apart my main pedal board.
Oooh- my last pedal (due March 2023) is making a surprise early appearance later today.
Sweetness.
Oooh- my last pedal
Ever? Congratulations
one pedal to rule them all
That pedal is sooo much fun. Love to hear what you come up with when you build patches or if you stick with the defaults. There’s also a video on YouTube about hacking zoom pedals if you find that sort of thing interesting.
That awesome shaggy purple carpet really ties the bass together!
