The Relentless P is ceramic. The J is neodymium. But yeah, the relentless P should be massive in sound

That is a cool looking bass. Right up my alley. And it’s fretless! It looks like it would play real easy. Those knobs though :face_vomiting: My whales are whalier :whale:

I just bought this 1988 Yamaha BB-G4A. I already love the sound, especially after I just put fresh flatwounds on it & made a full adjustment. Very comfortable to play, too.

And at 35 years old, no less! I was told the seller was just the 2nd owner, and the first one was an older gent who bought it new and kept it for most of this time.
