I loved all my Warwick basses except for how heavy they are !
They are beautiful examples @Al1885

There is also Maruszczyk. There are some great basses that come out of Poland. This will be my 3rd polish bass, with a 4th arriving sometime in spring.

I’ll have to try a 'vette someday. I just couldn’t gel with my Streamers, despite thinking they were nice instruments for the price. Which I guess rules out Spector Euros for me too.

Corvettes are bigger in the body than the Streamers which packs on more weight

MIG Streamers are heavier too so that’s not a good sign for me

The Rockbass Streamers are made out of Carolena (basically, pine) that is super light. It’s also very soft and somewhat dentable, but in a way that you don’t care about because your whole bass weighs 3.4kg.

So true. My RB Infinity was lighter than my jazz bass

24 frets? How do you like it? You know that what started all the these vetted for me. A zebrani infinity.

Aren’t all Warwicks?

I still own a Yamaha WX7 and always wanted to bring it out again.

That EMEO looks amazing, and the video also taught me about those patches that are available nowadays… I still have the go-to synth modules from back then (the Yamaha VL-70m and the Kurzweil 1000HX). Man, do I need another rabbit hole??

You know how to GAS up folks, @John_E :joy: (Congrats on that new purchase!)

For me, the big difference between the corvette and streamer is the body curve more so than the top horn.

The back of the streamer body is concave and it just sits against my body in the perfect position. The corvette (and rockbass streamer LX) are flatter and sit more to the right.

For me, the Streamer and Spector NS shape is by far my favorite bass body shape in terms of ergonomics.
(I’m more racing snake than Clydesdale in terms of build )

Warwick also do a streamette which is a hybrid of the two body shapes but I’ve never tried one.

The NT is definitely nicer than the LX, yeah.

SX makes a SpecWick clone that is like a Streamer but with an even more exaggerated curve. I kind of liked it more than I expected, felt good to hold.

You cant really see the curve there but it’s about like the outside curve of a large tree. Pretty curved. You can see it better in this shot of one, how it’s sort of starting to hug the stand:

Not bad, nice feeling instrument. Not the highest quality I am sure but I liked it, frets were fine, etc. Very light. I have to admit to being a little tempted.

Yes , 24 frets and 38.5mm at the nut with a very nice neck profile.
It felt very good in the hand and had excellent lower fret access.
Yes, I did like it and do regret selling it

It’s funny every time I see the midi sax played they always use different sounds, everything else but sax, lol.

Yes I love concave body. They are very cool and comfortable.

Sax is such an expressive instrument from your own oral cavity that it’s really really really hard to synthesize it. Really hard.

The best one by far (actually the only one worth bothering with) is SWAM.

All their stuff is the best.

Whenever you think you have too many pedals, just look back here.
It will be ok, go ahead and buy one more.
