I mean… Yeah. I wasn’t expecting over a grand for a combo though
I think the price is high enough that a combo doesn’t make sense, but also they got my attention announcing then so…
It’s Darkglass. You don’t go there looking for sensible pricing
The heads are actually pretty reasonable though.
Yeah. Those are more serious.
They are like 500w though, so not your living room combo. Why not a head at that point though?
Most probably with an external cab though. Specs say external should be 8 Ohm minimum.
Well, that one looks like they just fixed the amp to the top of the cab, which might avtually be the case, looking at pictures of it
It’s a separate cradle that allows for mounting the head to the cab so at just 25lbs it can very easily be carried one handed. I can also remove it from the cradle to use with other cabs.
Looks like a good Idea. No more fear of your amp falling of the cab
True although in over 50 years I’ve never had it happen. Most of them were too heavy to knock off. However, this head weighs just 3.5 lbs so yeah. It would be very easy to knock off.
I’m ‘almost’ prepared to get over their head stock because the price is right ($599) for the Music Man clones.
A lot of manufacturers putting out the J/MM lately. I think it’s slaptastic.
Do eeeet!
The Sire headstock has taken on its own look and personality. It ain’t a Fender design clone, but that’s OK.
Wow that’s the first major company to do the 3X1 copy, Kudos Sire!
What I really want is the control plate.
The only gripe I have of the cab design is that you can’t really put any thing on top of the amp as it slide off, lol.
I just got this a little while ago. Finally gotten around to do something with it. Came with Ableton Lite Live, which is very nice to play around with.
Ordered from Thomann and came after 3 days. I’m constantly in the missus ear to go there and stay overnight. It’s an almost 5 hours drive from us, so maybe a weekend in Nuremberg, would be enticing…
Oh cool! I used one for years. Nice audio interface. Love the mixer-style layout, I wish more did that.
Well, I like it a lot so far, and with the great work that Pam and Ed put into a tutorial, it’s fairly intuitive to work out, once you iron out a few kinks.
