Cool! That’s “only” Hornbach. It looks like it comes from a fancy hipster store. And very cheap too!

We have one wall that needs to be improved. We decided on hieroglyphs, done by ourselves (with actual meaning, like stupid jokes: “Kommt ein Cowboy vom Frisör, Pony weg!”), but your wallpaper would look even better there…

130€ for this Squier, with the flight case. Yes or no?

Do you need it?? (Yeah, I had to ask…)

If the flightcase is good, the bass is basically for free.

But, actually rather seriously, do you need it? If truly yes, then go for it.

Well, need it is a big word, I just thought it looked like a really good deal, with the case. Then maybe use the bass as a modding bass.

“need” - ok that’s unfair Joerg

Yeah!

Active PU (if there’s space for a 9V battery):

Passive PU:

@nebel - both are like Lego: no soldering! I really love the X series of EMG! Both are hum free!

Yes, slightly… just trying to avoid him having to unload a bunch of never-played basses later in his career

Yes. Keep it next to the front door in case of intruders. :boxing_glove: :boxing_glove:

Ah, so that is what you use a P-bass for… got it now  Always wondered why they had those…

Not sure if they come with it, but if those strings are still in the box, those are probably worth 30-40 dollars right there.

Unfortunately, this bass for sale is a jazz bass, probably not great for a home defense weapon. The neck would probably break just by picking it up… :grinning:

I opted not to get it. There were just too many red flags. I asked to come and try it. They did not want that, as for that price you could not let everyone come and try it. Then I said I was not interested, since I’d never want to buy a used instrument without trying it.

Then I could try it, but they wanted to meet at a neutral location, since they did not want people to come home to them, and I should come alone. No way for me to hook it up to an amp then. So keep your shit. :man_shrugging:

Hmmmm … I don’t want everybody at my house to, I can relate!

That makes it interesting … pity that it’s so far away. I would gladly pick it up for you!

What about a video call with the guy? I do that for almost everything I sell/buy…

Nope, absolutely nothing concerning about that…

It’s in Luxembourg, a tiny country where never anything happens. The only criminal they have is likely on vacation
