Oh wow, yeah that can’t be true. A Rick and an Alembic with hardshell case for 200.00. I think they are missing a digit
.
Yep, THAT AD seems legit.
(….I don’t think so)
Omg! I just ordered 2 of each of everything still total less than @booker_t Alembic. Theres also a custom one of a kind jazz bass and they have 3 in stock so I got all, anThere’s a little problem with their system I kept asking for different credit cards and it’s been a while since I have to give them my social and ID number, I can’t wait to build a new shed for these puppies.
Sorry guys you snooze you lose, I took most of their inventory, ![]()
I’ve never heard of them before they are going to take down GC.
If you want to go and pick it all up @Al1885 here’s the address on their website. They’re probably stored in the garage at the back ![]()
Good luck

I ordered a few myself. Delivery is the 12th of Neveruary. Can’t wait!!
I didn’t even know there were shortscale Rickenbackers. I don’t usually like the way they look, but this one is so awesome! It would have looked even more awesome without a pick guard. With that body, it would be so fabulous with no pick guard at all, or then with a black pick guard. The white just looks kinda wrong. Of course, it is just my opinion. I would have loved to see this without a pick guard. Beautiful wooden body. And, the most important, it sounds so amazing! I’m not even going to Google to see how much it costs, probably too much.
Sounds like one of these deals:
Good sleuthing and good comments all around! It’s important to be reminded of those scammers and their tactics every now and then!
Hey now, believe it or not FretNation the legit high end has no store front that I know off, I once pickup my bass from his gated community.
They are in the wrong business and wrong state to. This is a lot more profitable 100% to be exact, ![]()
Yeah this is what I found - the original truss fod cover and pickguard (and the pickup cover) are all plastic and just didn’t fit with the overall look of the bass. It was a bit disappointing considering I dropped a fair bit of cash on my Rick and then I get those janky old accesories….
But that shortscale is sweeet. If you get one, definitely replace the pickguard (I recommend Alperious custom pickguards).
@fishmongerjoe Is there enough room under the pedal board to mount the power supply.
That’s how I like to do it. Keeps it cleaner and more room for pedals.
I don’t know rockboards, but I use the same power supply. It’s small but it’s a thicc little beast. There was no way it was going to work under my board.
The power supply will fit underneath. That said, it needs to be oriented in a particular fashion to retain access. I didn’t have it in me last evening to figure out the details. As @faydout said the iso bricc is thicc.
The rockboard is pretty cool, they have a bunch of modular modifications to choose from. Cab Sims, class d amp, power supply, wireless system, and patch bays are all options.
You could get a clip on tuner like the Polytune “Unitune Clip”, it’s handy because you can pass it around. The Polytune version is $5 more, so maybe that is an option for handing to guitar players.
Well, both Unitune and Polytune work for bass and guitar. The difference is that the Polytune can be used to tune while strumming all the strings (on guitar only), if set to the right tuning.
Hi @antonio, yes, I considered one of those, but I don’t like the aesthetic of headstock clip-on tuners…
I don’t know how you do it, but everything you do yourself looks so perfect! Like this:
Looks so perfect! I love looking at those cables. All so neatly organised and labelled! ![]()
