The Korg XS or the mini are what I’ve been leaning towards. I’m hoping that I can stack it on top of my preamp to save some space, without having to turn it sideways… my OCD does not care for that look.
Maybe I haven’t played with trying to configure it? I find it hard to dial in my tuning, it takes me about twice as long to get it right on the mark on the Helix. That and it seems pretty finicky with my low E and B strings on bass. I can pull out my handheld, get it all tuned up and get my instrument plugged back in, in less time than it takes me to tune up with the built in Helix tuner.
I’m just shy of 50 and have an astigmatism. Bruh, I’m blind af. I do B2B and songster covers on a 34” monitor, 6 ft in front of me… and that isn’t always enough.
Well the idea was good so I appreciate - offered 700, new lowest price is 800 (so already -100EUR). He says sound is superior to the other Aerodynes he had/sold so far and that counts more than the looks (I think).
In this case I might go and take a test drive with it tomorrow, at least to get a feeling if Aerodyne (as a type) is talking to me or not, weird that I want it badly while haven’t even touched one.
TBH out of my instruments I have now it’s only the “oldest” (Squier 40th Anniversary Jazz) is the one I have tested before purchase and is very much satisfied with, all the others I just ordered (Sire Z for MM feeling, the Sire P5R-5 for the 5 string playground and was only 370EUR and the DIY P-kit I painted/designed with my son).
My girlfriend just asked me yesterday: is there any guitarists/bassists I’m aware that has only one instrument? Had to think hard but still couldn’t remember anyone either IRL folks or forum-buddies that would have only one
