I actually looked for it, or one like it (mother of pearl Contello [Italian made Milton Mann house brand] circa ‘75 or so) and found a couple, but… an accordion that old - unless it’s been impeccably cared for - is a massive repair bill waiting to happen. All of the reeds are seated in, well, pretty much beeswax, so all that wax can be dried and cracking, and the bellows can be leaking or there can be mold issues. Unless you’re getting it as a rebuild hobby, it’s probably not worth it.
In the last couple weeks I have gotten a cheapo Donner 37 key midi controller/synth/sequencer, XVive 5ghz wireless guitar and IEM setup and I have a presonus digital audio interface on the way.
I have always wanted a good ol telecaster,so eyeballing those too.
I’m fighting hard right now, y’all, and maybe you can help.
I started bass with a Yamaha TRBX174, which is a perfectly fine 4-string. Upgraded earlier this year to a TRBX605 and fell in love with the active EQ and tone shaping it offers along with the extra B-string.
I now have a bead on a like-new Schecter Reaper 4 that sounds amazing, but I’m vacillating on whether having a 4-string (even with the Darkglass tone capsule) is necessary with five.
got here late for the above discussion but one of the great finds of my life was this guy. huge amounts of power, built great, dirt cheap, tiny footprint. and he does custom work. most of the new “super pedals” like my analog take a massive amount of power and these are the answer without putting you in the poor house. amazing.
