I have the ABM 6240, which is quite similar - and I am quite happy!

I bought an amp yesterday. I didnā€™t really need one - I play through DI/Mac/headphones - but it was a good price. I donā€™t have a photo because Iā€™ve already dismantled it to try to repair the hum: first step is to change 2 main capacitors.

Itā€™s a Hiwatt B40/12 and itā€™s bigger than Iā€™d realised. It was also only Ā£30.

Iā€™ve just found this today while browsing randomly (to drop.com, as it happens) :

I donā€™t know anything about its value/performance but I thought this could interest someone looking for a cheap and/or convenient small audio interface.

They have some nice stuff, I kinda want a dub step too. I donā€™t have a semi hollow or a short scale and thatā€™ll kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Aaaaannnnnnd Sadowsky MetroExpress P/J MO 5-string also appears to be 18mm spacing, pricewise the same ballpark as the Marcus Miller Z7-5.

I love my M5, too. It plays like a dream and can sound like any of a roomful of basses. :wink:
