Love the Comanche. Awesome color too.
CLF ASAT Classic S
E series Squier MIJ.
I am so predictable.
Decided to just buy what I really wanted, really nice used Revstar Standard came up. This will be my third Revstar now
Some earlier frustrations with the Pacifica project made me realize I won’t be truly happy with it even once it is done and awesome, dumb psychological thing but whatever. I look forward to finishing it and comparing it to the Revstar’s humbuckers.
The Revstar’s stock pickups are quite good so it will be a cool comparison. Here’s a good example (video from timecode, some nice amps too, love the sound in to that Rockerverb and then the Boogie):
I just… missed this, along with the feature package you get with the thing.
Lol. I actually thought you’d finish the Pacifica first.
even for the color
Red goes faster! Especially with racing stripes
That’s what made me realize it was time to just get the Revstar. The Pacifica is still sitting there half wired because I keep putting off repairing the pickups. Not because it’s hard or dodgy, just because it irritates me to have to do it.
I would have never guessed you would have more guitars than basses
That’s a pretty color, but the gradient in the review really gets me. Last time I was in the local music shop they had some revstars and if I ever walk in with that finish or the green hanging up I might walk out with a guitar.
Still safe, have 2 and 2
Father-in-law just passed this guitar rig on to me. Believe it was my brother-in-law’s, who was killed years before I met my wife.
Don’t know if I’ll ever really play it, but I love me some Matsumoku double cut bodies, so I’ll fix it up (electronics need love), and hope one of my kids picks it up. Vantage VP-790 with Roland Jazz Chorus 50.
that would be a bass
Nice work man
Thank you Sir.
