Help me decide!

I found the d’addario strings on that you be exactly right. That’s a winner.

The ESP LTD B line is really good quality too, if not as popular. Just as good as soundgear.

More expensive though, or at least was until recently.

Then again all three brands used to be made in the same factory in Indonesia, so it’s not surprising that they are similar in workmanship

Yamaha has their own factory now but AFAIK ESP and Ibanez are still colocated.

That’s a real beauty, @EddieJones . . .

And the neck is even slimmer than a FenderJazz? . . . wow!

Save those pics because the ones that Sweeter took of my bass disappeared eventually. Wish you lots of happy playing and good luck!

Cheers

B104 was right around $300, not sure they make it anymore. They seem to be cutting back on their bass offerings.

I actually have a B50-FM that is beautiful and with Fender flats, sounds great. Ibanez neck feels better but LTD quality for money spent is awesome

I have to say, the pickups and electronics on the SR surprised me with how well they play together. The pickups are awesome when in humbucker mode.

Those soundgear basses have such excellent low-end growl. And real crunch for when you get your metal on. How are you liking the new rig?

Gotta love double humbuckers. Deep, rich, can still bite.

So light and perfect see up. Great rounds as well. (D’addario)
