Heck Yes! I’m so glad it’s live! Having also been a beta tester, I’m looking forward to seeing the final version and going over everything again.
I started out the beta with my partner’s ‘spare’ guitar and I was having so much fun I went and got my own.
Man, I’m starting to feel like the only one that wasn’t a beta tester! I kinda arrived way too late for that, though, I think. I was definitely one of the people asking for a guitar course like bassbuzz.

This feels like the confession board for the cult that was the GuitarBuzz beta team. I’d like to confess that I very much enjoyed beta 1 and beta 2 (I think the Billy Jean moments were very well adapted to level out any spikes in difficulty).
Awesome work Josh, Alex and the whole team involved and shoutout to Jason for being chief cult leader.

I was a beta tester too. And now I play guitar in a band, never thought I would be able to play guitar.

I think, when @JoshFossgreen eventually starts FluteBuzz, the beta test will truly show who’s riff-raff 
That said: I also envy the beta testers, as I still have a hollow body Gretsch guitar here that I can’t play and am I’m somehow reluctant to sell.
Maybe the riff-raffs get at least a discount for GuitarBuzz?
I suspect that the beta testers who stuck with it all the way through were comp’d the released version. They’d certainly deserve it. I didn’t make it very far, so I just paid full price for Guitar to Kickass. Still a great value.
I also started to feel tempted to learn guitar, but I’ll stick to bass for now. But it is nice to see we have a great guitar course as an option!
I’m looking forward to the youtube videos, and I will recommend the course to my friends.
Also have a look at Justinguitar - it has a different didactical approach (it’s ok, but not as good as BassBuzz) and my girlfriend finds Justin adorable (I quote: “he’s like a cuddly little bunny!”).
I am not worried about the didactic part of GuitarBuzz, as I guess that it will be similar to BB.
I do hope that Alex is either funny - like Josh - or a “cuddly little bunny”, as this is a huge part of the motivational charm of both courses…
Just purchased the course. @JoshFossgreen your bass buzz course was so good it’s a no-brainer.
I have been playing guitar for several years, and feel like I’m at a reasonable level, so not sure how much I will be challenged, but never had a lesson so it will be good to go through and potentially identify and fix bad habits.
Incidentally the bass buzz course was quite handy from a guitarist point of view for really making me play bass the right way rather than just taking guitar-style shortcuts (left thumb I’m looking at you touching the low e!)
Can’t wait to get stuck in.
Hell yes. Can’t wait. I particularly like the new website uses all the same house style of the original site, just red instead of orange. It’s like an elaborate April Fool’s. But real!
Just to second people mentioning Justin Guitar, one of the best instrument teachers online. I’m working my way through it right now and will be very interested to see how the much more linearly-directed GuitarBuzz will compare if it’s like B2B. Justin’s approach is very varied but requires a lot of self-directed practice, which can be equally liberating or scary depending on what you struggle with/enjoy.
Justin is great! I actually think the two courses are complementary. Alex is a great teacher and this course has the bassbuzz formula.
And for those of you jealous of us who were in the beta: just remember we had to do the Billie Jean moments before they were calibrated
