I ordered a Dingwall SP1-4 and now an SP1-5

I am jealous.

All I know is the Asia built Dingwall I have is an amazing build and great quality. Can’t imagine spending more for one

I even like the finishes on the Combustions more than the Afterburners

Say it ain’t so.

Here’s a great demo of the SP1-5.

I’ve done it now. I was going to have Gustav at Lignum build me a 5-string modeled on the Super J, but after getting Pierre’s email today announcing the next set of SP-1 arrivals, I decided to get a 5er in white (for about the same money as I’d have paid Lignum). It’s due the end of July. Bass Freaks is also getting 4s in the other 3 finishes, including the new Green. Now, I’ll have my own Ebony and Ivory! :guitar: :guitar:

Slightly off topic, sorry

I ordered a Dingwall from them last year after many exchanges on color and so on. Decided to order a bass that was coming to them in the next few months. When the bass arrived at their shop, they saw a small issue (small scratch on a screw) that I probably wouldn’t have seen and not impacting anything besides pefection . They emailed me immediately, apologized (for something they could do nothing about), offered solution and canceled my order with no question when I decided to go for perfection
kudos to them !

Yeah… well, the US is just going to have to get used to this, unfortunately.

And US expats. All of my income is in US$. 99% of my expenditures are in EU€. For a long time, the exchange rate was pretty stable around $1.06 to 1 €. Now, it’s close to $1.16 to 1 €. This tariff nonsense is costing me about 10 cents on the dollar. And it’s getting worse.

At least you will have a better future, cause of the tariffs, or so I heared

Luckily for me I am paid in both dollars and yen so it hits me less hard, but yeah.
