I ordered a Dingwall SP1-4 and now an SP1-5

Here’s a great new SP1 tone demo video from Dingwall. What a bass! Still don’t have my white 5er and it’s after “late July”. I hope it will be here soon.

2 months in with my SP1 and couldn’t be happier with it. I rarely play anything else at home however I still gig with my fender player plus because I’m too scared of anything happening to the SP1.

That is still one of the best looking basses on the forum!

Pierre has another one coming in:

Sweetwater has ‘em in stock for $2510.

Obviously, no overseas shipping fee nor custom duty charges for US residents, but state sales tax will be added. :man_shrugging:

$1950 in Canada :canada: :maple_leaf::sunglasses::tangerine:

The point was not having to wait.

But a Canadian manufacturer selling direct within Canada is logically going to sell at a lower price point than exported products from a reseller.

It’s tariffs :man_shrugging::face_with_raised_eyebrow: That’s what they said on a recent podcast I listened to.

Yeah, the shit has hit the fan. Hopefully, any player in America who wanted a Dingwall bought it in the beforetimes.

Time to go smuggle one back from Canada

Wrong colour…white is the way to gown with this bass IMHO!

Yep, you can imagine the value of second hand Dingwalls also going up in the US.

The SP-1 is listed at between £1,900 and £2,200 in the UK, depending on where you look. I have a few more trades to complete, plus selling off non-bass stuff that I don’t use, to get to the required £££. Gonna take a while :nauseated_face:

I paid 2 428,76 € for my metallic black SP1-4 and 2 527,93 € for my not yet delivered Ducati white SP1-5, both from Bass Freaks in Brussels, Belgium. The Super J I was drooling over was almost 8K €, so I saved money! [Ever heard that one before? :rofl:]
