When she walks, she’s like a samba
That swings so cool and sways so gently
That when she passes
Each one she passes goes, “Ah”
RIP, lovely lady.

Still by far one of my favorite renditions of that song by far. The perfect voice for that song IMHO.
Aww man. SF just lost a good one.
I had the joy and privilege of seeing him in concert at Radio City Music Hall in NYC many years ago. His rendition of “Because Of You” was my parents’ first dance at their wedding. I did a bass cover of his “I Wanna Be Around” a few years ago.
R.I.P. Tony
@JerryP , Radio City !!! Outstanding There Brother Man
Cheers
Just woke up to this sad news @MikeC
RIP Mr Bennett
This is really funny. I’d always assumed he was a SF native. Living in SF, he was on the radio all the time in the '90s. I don’t mean his music, I mean him personally, stopping by stations for interviews. Across a broad range of stations. But it turns out, born in NYC, died in NYC. I had no idea.
Dude was one of a kind.
Yep, not a West Coast dude. Born and bred in New York.
she was pretty well known in my circle of friends, she lived outside of chicago for awhile. she struggled for years with a lot of different issues, so not exactly surprising. but very sad. an immense talent and very young.
“The Lion and The Cobra” is an all time fave and a phenomenal album.
Shame about this, and the weight of mental illness she had to deal with.
Sad day indeed, what a great bass player who sang imo some of the best Eagles songs. RIP Randy
He had to keep going back to check out false leads people kept sending him about the whereabouts of his heart.
Paul Reubens, aka Pee-wee Herman, has taken his last bow after a years-long battle with cancer.
His Emmy Award-winning TV show and Broadway shows were always filled with positivity, child-like wonder, comedy and music.
He left a legacy of entertainment loved by kids and adults alike. RIP, Peewee.
aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
he-he
Saw him live on Broadway (first row seats).
Loved the guy ever since SNL and his HBO Playhouse version (not for kids).
Followed him on fb, he has been posting all the way through, even a couple days ago.
Mecca Lecca High Mecca Hiney Ho - long live PeeWee (and Jambi)
So sad to hear that Paul Reubens has passed away.
Besides being a fan of his performances, I have always been impressed with the musicians who have done soundtrack work on his shows and movies. They include Danny Elfman, Mark Mothersbaugh, Todd Rundgren, George Clinton, Dweezil Zappa, Jeff Baxter, Stanley Clarke , The Residents and many others.
big fan, IM TRYING TO USE THE PHONE
Nooooooooooooo! Dammit.
