Hey hey everyone, ive been interested in music my whole (16 year) life. As a toddler ive been told i would randomly sing things and keep beats surprisingly well. After a while as i grew up I became extremely shy for an unknown reason. I always wanted to play the guitar or bass, my dad plays both for our church occasionally and he would sometimes teach me stuff. Finally last year i decided to speak up and say i wanted to learn the bass. i decided on bass after i discovered Green Day, i was in awe of Dirnt’s bass-ness lmao. so for christmas my dad got me a fender bass and ive been playing since. i can now perfectly play Sweet Child O’ Mine and plenty other songs.
Welcome aboard @Sam_Robin,
you are lucky to have a great dad who has given you the opportunity to learn and play bass.
If you can play GNR’s stuff already you are well on your way.
Josh’s lessons will give you a solid foundation to pursue your dreams in a structured methodical and most of all a “FUN”" way.
Enjoy the ride,
Cheers Brian
