@Mac brings up a really good point, @Jason_K . . .
Welcome to the Forums and good luck in the course!
Cheers

Glad you are here @Jason_K.
You are in the most perfectly right place.
Beginner to Badass is the best course to get into bass, hands down.
Use the forum too, very helpful folks in several stages of the same journey to help you along.
Welcome @Jason_K
I actually had that hobby for a while back in 1968 - 1969.
Welcome aboard @Jason_K,
Enjoy the ride,

Hi, my name is Betty. I bought myself a Jackson Spectra JS2 Bass Guitar metallic blue for christmas. I just got it setup and trying to learn and keep up the pace. I hope everyone is doing fine.

Let your bass journey begin.
The quickest way to go fast, is to start slow.

Hi everyone!
So excited I’ll be joining you in exploring the wondrous world of BassBuzz. I have finally decided to upgrade my playing skills (30-something hobbyist bassist with some background in music), and decided this would be a great place to start. I just signed up for the Beginner to Badass course and can’t wait to share my progress with you, and also read your insightful posts and comments: thanks for making this wholesome community so awesome!

Love, E.

Welcome @Eugene
thanks everyone. I got my guitar because the price was right and it has 24 frets. wish i did this a long time ago, but life happens. i raised my son and now it’s time to do something i would enjoy. i wish i could keep up with how fast you guys are going between frets. this is a good course though and i’m glad i joined.
