Actually I am running, full sprint, on both bad knees, that need to be replaced. It must be hysterical to to any onlookers.

Hey everyone knew to town and the bass! Since picking up the bass, i feel as though a whole new world has been revealed! Its wicked, finally finding a new zest for life that i have been desperately searching for. Met a couple musicians in town and they kinda broke me out of my shell. My grandpa has been playing bass since he 10 or 12 and my dad hopped on the drums when he was 17. Those two rascals have been playing ever since, over 35 years! Being to caught up in sports, and partying i never gave myself the chance to try. And now, almost 30, it couldnt have come at a better time! Anyways thanks ahead of time for your answers, feed back, conversation and discussion! :call_me_hand:

You may find you are younger then the average member here, and many of older me,bees have been playing 2 years or less, so you certainly are not past your prime, or time.
You are starting at a perfect time, the time when you are passionate about it.
Takes work and dedication, so being passionate about it helps you to find the drive to dedicate time and effort to getting better.

Who knows, you may have tried it at 20, not enjoyed it, then wrote it off forever.
So now is a good time, it is the right time.

Welcome, glad to have you.

Are you going to take the Beginner to Badass course?
I loved it, and recommend it, if you are looking to learn the bass, it is an excellent 2nd step, the first being, getting a bass, and deciding to play.

Yeah its definitely the right time, right place. Im thinking doing the course. so far, just have been jamming with the guys i met in town! But things have been progressing with the band more quickly then any of us could have imagined. Im dog water, but the guys im playing with make it sound unreal, i got hooked. We had a jam about three weeks ago and it was kinda decided that we’re gonna start making music. And like you said @TNKA36 just enjoying the ride! Although i need to make some progress. I grew up around it, would go and help dad and grandpa set up, do sound check, go to practices… But never did get going. Like you said @T_dub it just kinda happened at the right time! I am very thankful for having music in my life, and am blessed to be apart of it now.
