I have a Gretch tenor and Kala baritone ukulele that I use for those jam sessions and am active member of the Sunshine Ukulele Group in Orillia but also attend 3 other more local jams, or did before Covid.
sorry. meant ukelele. I have a baritone ukelele in the house. So I guess I could use that to start if I wanted. My coworker said it was all about the fun.
Just be aware the Baritone Uke is tuned DGBE.
I can PM you a Baritone chord chart if you would like.
And they were correct but then most things regarding playing with others is about having fun.
Do a search for ukulele flash mob on YouTube to see some of the antics we get up to.
Anyways we are way off topic for this thread topic so if you want anything uke related PM me.
Like everyone else here I am here to learn. I have spent my life around music, family all play and i have even owned and ran live music venues, I just am not good. I have jerked around with playing guitar off and on for years but no discipline or consistency. I’m loving the course and already feel progress!
My name is David and well, I just got my first bass ever in last night and just wrapped up module 1 this evening!
I have never played an instrument in my entire life, though I have always wanted to. So at 32, I decided it was time to finally start those Bass lessons I have been meaning to do since I was 13…and start a band. Hahaha!
My setup right now is an Ibanez SR300E, a Fender Rumble 40, and my laptop to do my lessons! I got the strap all dialed in yesterday, everything hooked up, tuned the Bass with a nice clip on tuner, and I have been having a blast!
I am looking forward to talking to you all more and learning as much as I can!
