Introduce Yourself! (2018-2022)

Welcome @Jeanette

Straps fall off without some sort of locking mechanism. it’s a mystery why no one warns you.

I have a friend in the Babymetal fandom who went to class one day, and they were going over genders. They projected objects on the wall and the class shouted out the gender associated with it. Ball, boy. Pot, girl, and so on.

They projected an electric guitar on the wall, and as the class was shouting “boy”, my friend, a girl, blurted “hey, that’s a Dimebag Darryl signature model. I’ve got one”.

Music is genderless. My friend got in trouble for making a drug reference in class. Rock on

Wonderful story

Reminded me of a story. I got to see him play one in person, right in front of me. I worked at a music store, and he came in to look at pedals and do some Christmas shopping. Pulled one of his own guitars off the wall and used it. Made me feel like he actually stood behind a signature model and it wasn’t just for endorsements or money. He could have grabbed anything off the wall that he wanted, and that’s what he went for. I’ll never forget the story or tire of telling it lol.

Hi, my name is Koden I came here to improve my skills and technique. I play in (Astronaut on Juda) a psychedelic deep blues band. Some of our influences are Cream, Hendrix, and Zeppelin. My end goal is, I want to be able to play a 20 minute improve jam and along the way learn new ways of playing while improving my groove/rhythm.

You know, until reading this I never considered giving my bass a name! Gil is a fantastic choice, however.

Ow, I had surgery on both my thumbs in 2017, got the same small hand problem(s). My Hub has a ball for hand exercise, and arm muscles, I’ve tried it out, may look for something.
