@Frank_Beard totally agree with you on Chris Squire and Geddy Lee…I’m reading Lee’s “My Effin’ Life” right now and its awesome to read what he went through. Also rocking the beard from one to another! As the beard club I am in would say “Be Hairy Do Good”

Hey there!

Blake here from Virginia- I played a little “self-taught” bass in HS and college (read bad bass player)- but mostly spent time on keys until I had kids. But now that the kids are gone- time to get back to it. So here I am. I tried to do another bass program but it wasn’t nearly as comprehensive as this one and I quickly fell away. This course is excellent though! I’m only 30 or so lessons in and I was able to jump into my church worship band when the bassist didn’t show for rehearsal and actually pull it off. Looking forward to going the distance. If a quarter way through got me through an unplanned live rehearsal, I can’t wait to see the results at the end! Happy to be a part of the community here and looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Name’s David. I’m an entrepreneur and own an online wellness company, but while that’s being built, I drive people around for my 9-5, more or less. Once my business allows me to retire from driving, I’ll be devoting more time to church, creative outlets, my YouTube channel, and of course, bass.

I’ve been playing bass for a couple years now. Self-taught at first just learning Rush songs through online tablature until I discovered this course.

Been a Rush fan for 12+ years and am familiar with 95 of their songs and counting; just haven’t found anything else I liked as much!
