I will eventually get that new Geddy book. The one that I really enjoyed was Ghost Rider by the Professor himself. I made a similar trek, albeit not as long nor as in-depth as he, but after I got out of the service I rode my Electra Glide across a lot of the country- 35,000 miles in two years. With his losses and tragedies he had to find himself more than I did. His book was not out at that time, but Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance was wafting through my mind in self-attempts to “see” all things seen but self-forced from possible different perspectives. High time I re-read both those again, but the Lee scripts might be before that.
Have always had a beard, save for the time in the Corp. I would always have some sort of facial hair since then and would let it go a few week before hunting season. I have not touched a razor since late summer 2016.
I like the mantra “BHDG!”
Respectfully,
Frank W.A. Beard
Hi everyone, I’m KG and started the course about a month ago. I have been playing the electric guitar on and off for a couple decades now but for about 3 years more seriously and continuously.
I picked up the bass 2 years ago to learn more about the rhythm hoping it would make me a better guitar player but lately I’ve been drawn more to the bass.
The guitar background definitely helps with fingerings and theory stuff but bass feels more freeing and flowing and a little more natural. Perhaps this was the axe for me all along. Looking forward to the journey.

Hello all. My name is Tony. New here. I’m getting back to playing after a very long hiatus. Not that I was a great player. But I’m starting from the beginning. I have 5 basses( I know have a problem) probably going to get a sixth. I’m looking for the right sound. Each one has their own sound. Well just wanted to say hello. Looking forward to this course.
