Love the blue too! That’s why I chose this over the other color of Squires.

Welcome @RichMT ! Sweet collection too! Is the semi-hollow a short scale?

Hello and thank you. Well to be honest I do not know. It’s a very warm sound. Now I will find out. That’s the way I am! Now looking at it again and a quick search. 22 frets is less than half. So short scale. My best guess.

The number of frets doesn’t indicate a bass’s scale length.

Instead, use a tape measure to measure the length of your strings from the nut to the bridge saddles. That measurement will be the scale length.

By the way, short scale is 30”; medium scale is 32”; and long scale is 34”.
