Welcome @Fromafriend !
So many people to meet
Hello all,
New to the forum, but roughly 6weeks into B2B. Nice to learn of a large support community behind it. Look forward to learning and sharing.

Thank you @fennario. Delighted to meet you.
Good morning from the UK, I’ve been lurking for a few days now and thought it’s time to say hi! Joined the B2B course a week ago.
My wife recently joined a wedding band and I went along to watch one of their practice sessions and had been inspired. I felt it to be quite infectious and wished I had learned an instrument at some point in life because it looked like great fun!
So I decided on bass! I love the way it sounds and feels. I didn’t realise most of my fave songs were top 10 because of the base line!.. Also I like that it’s not really front and centre much of the time😂
Been a self-defence instructor for 7 years now so looking to bring some of my discipline and perseverance to my new journey.
Welcome, @DaxMayarex. Glad you’re here. Fillow Josh’s lead and you’ll be grooving in no time. Enjoy the lessons!

Welcome @DaxMayarex !
Hi everyone, I’m an expat Brit living in the USA, mum to a 12 yr old. I’ve been lugging a guitar and bass around since I was about 18 and I’m now 46 and still can’t play either.
I had lessons about 15 years or so ago for a few months but was unable to keep up the practice needed because my priorities weren’t right. I.E I was more interested in video games than music.
Suffice to say recently I had a change of heart and have pretty much ditched the gaming to focus on other things, my bass being one of them. I started on Rocksmith+ about a month ago and while fun I quickly realised I needed some decent technique lessons and the ones included on Rocksmith weren’t really clicking that well. So after hitting up the reddit bass communities I saw BassBuzz recommended several times and here I am. I just finished Module 4 last night and am trying to wrangle my brain and fingers around Billie Jean.
This is my current baby setup. I have a potential move to Germany in my future so I don’t want to go too mad on gear right now and it’s not like I’m playing for anyone other than myself and maybe my son. He plays the french horn in band.
If you’ve seen my other thread I’m currently trying to talk myself either into or out of picking up the Yamaha TRBX304 to replace my cheap and very well traveled Ibanez GSR190 (It’s crossed the pond to England and then back again to the USA by shipping container.)
Welcome @Morkai !
