Welcome, @Morkai. Glad you’re here. Don’t worry too much about the infamous Billie Jean; it gets much easier when you return to it after you’ve gone through later lessons. Just keep learning and practicing. Enjoy!
Welcome @Morkai
Have fun!
Welcome @Morkai !
I also use Rocksmith a lot, albeit not Rockmith+. It totally s#cks, compared to Rocksmith 2014, in my opinion!
If you like the gaming mode, have a look here: List of play-along songs with synchronised tabs on Youtube
There is a “trick” to use gamification with about any song you like. I even created a video for “Billie Jean” (it’s the first).
Also, I am an (Dutch) expat in Germany - and we have a few other “real” German bassBuzzers. If you need help/information about Germany. Happy to help.
One advise beforehand:
Oh, and one more idea, before moving: getting gear in Europe is expensive. Maybe buy it in the US? You can always sell it here for a better price!

Sadly I only just learnt about it so I haven’t been able to procure a copy of the original. My partner has it on his xbox but we are a ponds width apart. That said I did see the thread on here about ToneLib Jam and it’s ability to load the rocksmith .psarc from customsforge so I’ll be checking that out for sure.
Ha, of course, it was your thread I saw on ToneLib Jam I was poking round your youtube channel a couple day’s ago, some great stuff there, thank you for all the work, I’ll definitely be checking it out more.
Thank you that’s good to know. My partner is there currently (oh the joys of LDR’s) so he’s educating me for sure on the do’s and don’ts.
hmm… that’s an interesting idea, although the shipping container space isn’t cheap either so I’d have to add that to the cost comparison. I will definitely do some math there though. I’m not going anywhere for at least a year yet so we’ll see how things work out. Good job in some ways cause I’m trying to learn German as well as play my bass I’m not sure which one is going faster!
Thanks!
Hello Everyone! I’m 56 and have always wanted to learn and instrument. I got a 5 string bass and hope I learn to play it.

Welcome @AW67 ! As I’ve often thought in my own learning journey, the best time to learn to play bass was 30 years ago. But the second best time is right now. Congrats on making the commitment, and welcome to the forum!
Welcome, @AW67. Glad you’re here. Enjoy!
Great to have you here @AW67
Thanks @John_E
great to meet you.
