Hey y’all. I bought a Fender 2 days before being furloughed (Gov Shutdown) and learning it through this course has been just what I needed. I’ve got decades of music rattling around in my head + piano training, so this has convinced me to retire and move on to more important matters.

Im Ian from Cornwall in the UK. 66 years old and just starting out as an absolute beginner. Looking forward to starting the B2B on line course next week. On recommendation I have bought a Gretsch Streamliner short scale.

Hello everyone. My name is Ron, I’m 59 years old and picked up a bass for the first time just a few days ago. That said, I’ve wanted to play the bass for a very long time and just never had the chance with my full time career, investigating aviation mishaps. Now retired, I have several related goals, to include playing in a band within a few years. Funny thing is, after I bought my first bass, I learned that my best friend used to play bass, and also a close friend from my mid-eighties high school class decided to also start playing and is also taking Josh’s course!
I’m just a few days in, somewhere around the 4th lesson, but I’m already having a great time.
Lay that bass track down friends!!
