Introduce Yourself! (2025)

I like a lot of that list. Expanding out a touch, there’s also Just Mustard (Irish shoegaze band), Squid, Dry Cleaning, Porridge Radio, and Sorry that I’ve been listening to lately.

Hello everyone from Germany!

About 2 months ago, I decided I wanted to learn bass, and I finally got my first one last week. Played around with it a bit, but decided I wanted to have a bit of a guideline regarding practise. Found Josh’s vidoes and loved them immediately, so signing up to his course was a matter of course!

So, it’s basically my first week, but I’m already excited to see where I am in a couple if weeks/months, and getting to know fellow bass players here!

Hello Everyone. My name is Devon and I just got back into playing bass. I played for about 8 years from the age of 12-20, I haven’t played for the last 15 years. I lost interest and life happened for the most part but I got the itch and I am back in the game. I just bought an Ibanez SR300EB and a Fender Rumble 40 to start playing again. I took lessons as a kid but have forgotten a lot of what I had learned before. I saw Josh’s YouTube videos and decided to try out the course. So far I am loving it. I am actually surprised how much I remembered from before (I am very rusty though). I look forward to finishing the course and interacting with everyone here in the forums.
