That even though I haven’t really practiced over the last few years, I am much better now at understanding the theory and my fingers work better. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Hi folks. The seed in my mind of “Lars, on your deathbed you will regret not have learned to play at least one instrument - trust me” forcing me occasionally to start learning an instrument. Came from violin over acoustic guitar and harmonica, but would say I found my right instrument with the bass. So, Hello from the friendly part of Germany. Because my wife ist Laotian I would be happy if someone’s here who like to dive into those thai/lao bass lines and discuss about the right notes.
Welcome, @110010. Glad you’re here. The Beginner to Badass course is the best way to learn bass. And did you mention Thai??? Our very own bass curator is @Al1885, a great Thai chef and an equally great guy. He is an expert on many subjects. Enjoy!
Ein hertzliches Willkommen aus Südwestfrankreich!

But what really fascinates me is the deep, powerful sound of the bass.
