hello,I’m Chris,
I,m a left handed 57 year old bass beginner Brit who’s just about to start module 3.
If ever the word “Rookie” applied to anyone it would be me!
I’ve been learning for a couple of months now (firstly using the Bass Buzz free lessons)
and I’m chuffed with my progress so far, but I suppose the most important thing is that I’m enjoying it!

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the journey. And when Josh repeatedly says “you will get better, you’ll see” he is not kidding.

Hi Josh! Congrats on your marriage.

I’m Pablo. Long time (self-taught) guitar player, sometime bass player who finally decided to take the B2B lessons. My goal is to approach bass as a bassist, rather than as a guitar player playing bass. I’m only in module 3, but already learning a lot of great technique stuff I totally missed over the years (including on 6 string ).

In anticipation for my bass journey I got a beautiful, buttercream Fender Mustang Player (PJ), and an Eden WTX head paired with an Ampeg 1x15 cab. Using NAM for quiet practicing at night, and really enjoying learning via the B2B lessons.

I’m looking forward to engaging with everyone here on the forum.

*Edited to give a bit more info

Hi everyone! My name is Valeria. I’ve been playing bass occasionally for the last 3 years and only this month I decided it’s time to start a course! Just finished module 1, super excited for what’s next!
ah and in my childhood since I was 4 y.o. I used to play violin and piano…

I think that’s why I decided to play bass rather than guitar… can’t do more than 4 strings

p.s. my long-time boyfriend is a guitarist
