Amazing video, where everything is FAKE - the entire ad, but also the Behind-the-scenes video following.
Apparently, the only real shot is of the creator being “interviewed” in the behind-the-scenes part. It took him “only” 3 weeks to make ![]()

We are so very fucked, society is not ready to handle the level of misinformation that will come from this tech.
Forget AGI, this is the real threat ![]()
Indeed, scary AF ![]()
impressive, scary but still a bit messy plus the proeminent wax effect…not falling for it (yet)
Oh there were many giveaways. But the question isn’t “did this fool me”, it’s “what percentage of the people who see this will think it is real”.
Additionally, propaganda doesn’t have to be completely believed to be effective. Words and images can leave lasting associations even when we know they are false.
It’s not just that but if it’s telling the story the listener wants to hear they will believe it and they will ignore an astonishing number of flaws.
Yeah, sadly there is a huge percentage of the population that believe anything, especially if a celebrity says it. They just lap up the hatred as if it was their own!
I watched a Linus Tech Tips video on some $230 amulet that is meant to block ‘harmful radiation’ and 5G etc. It is endorsed by several well know personalities, but it is utter snake oil. BS.

While you can spot the AI weirdness here and there, it is easier to spot since we a priori knew it was AI. If nobody had told you, it would have been harder to spot (especially in the behind-the-scenes part LOL).
Also, it was one guy playing around for three weeks to make it (and didn’t go to extreme efforts to smoothen out any “weird” stuff)… Now imagine a floor of people having 6 months or so - they can produce just about anything.
Came in here wondering if this was gonna be a “are we living in a simulation?” type thread…As far as AI, social media, printed media, video media, I’m just gonna assume none of it is genuine. We live in a time where you can find an echo chamber for just about any belief/opinion that you have.
So did we really go to the moon then?
The United States, the Soviet Union, China, India, and Japan have.
Don’t believe anything you see, and less than half of what you hear…
Found this not long ago. If you have a spare ninety seconds or so, head over and tell the prompt what kind of song you want it to create. It’s pretty astonishing what it comes up with.
The people that go down that rabbit hole never come back.
I not only do not believe I’m seeing this, I can’t believe what I’m hearing!
Perfect. Well played, sir.
One can only hope…
It sounds AI generated, but I bet for 90+% of people who casually listen to music it would more than pass the test. The track I tried out wasn’t bad but it was missing something. No worse than the disposable bubble gum pop that comes out now (not saying that all pop is disposable crap to be clear).
AI generated music has (understandably) been a hot topic on KVR for a year or so. The general consensus is the tools are impressive, may have applications replacing stuff like Muzak and maybe bad pop, it’s not replacing humans any time soon though, and may lead to some great in-DAW tooling.
